How To Make Gimbap

Makes about 20 pieces

2 cups warm, cooked white rice
2 tablespoons rice vinegar
2 teaspoons sugar
1/2 teaspoon sea salt
1 teaspoon toasted sesame seeds, plus more for garnish
2 sheets roasted seaweed (also called gim, nori, or laver)
4 to 6 fillings of your choice
Toasted sesame oil

Picture 1 : I only prepare the basic one but you can put another food that you want as carrot and much more but for me i more prefer cucumber ,egg slices and hotdog that's more i like it

Picture 2 : You have to seasoned your rice . Stir the rice, vinegar, sugar and salt until it dissolves actually you have to used shushi rice because it was a lot small than our normal malaysian rice *am i right so for * it was more cheaper than use shushi rice

Picture 3 : Place your roasted seaweed on top of the bamboo mat  than spread a layer of rice on top of the seaweed.

Picture 4 : Arrange the filling on top of the rice in neat and horizontal , make sure the filling is about an inch up from the bottom of the rice.

Picture 5 : Begin to rolling the seaweed, as rolling ti forward pull the mat up and out so it doesnt caught in the roll, keep rolling and released the mat after you form a compact cylinder. Before you end the roll makesure you seal the end of seaweed as in you deep your finger in water and moisten the edge of the seaweed and then Done Wallah you stick itand Done

Picture 6 : Then you cut into a bite piece then but before that make  sure to coat the blade of knife with a thin layer of oil to avoit it get sticky and finally Garnish it with sesame seed and Done wallah you can eat now your on GIMBAP....^_^
